How crazy are the rapids? I have an 11 year old that is definitely not an adventure seeker. Is there a chance you get thrown out of the raft?
A:
Not a chance! Very calm and mellow ride. My 9yo. had a blast.

Yes, and they provide them along with helmets. Also, you need to wear some type of water shoe (not flip flops) to give you traction in the raft. My son wore crocs that are snug, and that worked. During the trip, you take a break to climb up a big rock to jump off into a deep area, and you have to wear shoes to protect your feet! They do have wet suit booties for rent if you need them.

Hi, we loved the river raft 2 years ago. We were wondering whether you could please direct us to some photo's of the camping area. We thought we would take you up on the offer to drop us up river and then float down to the campsite (where we will plan to sleep day 1) and do some further floating down the river on day 3. Do you have a campsite that is somewhat out of the eye of all the visitors coming to your office, or is the campsite to the right of your office building? If that is the campsite, do you know of any other area with easy access for a car that we could spend the night? Thanks, Louis

Louis, the field next to our office is our campground. I don't have great pictures but will try and put some on our Facebook page in the next day or two. We have one secret campsite in the woods on the other side of the field. It is not accessible by car though. There other places to camp. One would be Horseshoe. The other is a non paying one but it is in Davis. Drive past the Shop in Save onto a dirt road and there are some nice campsites next to the Blackwater. It is called Camp 70 rd. Thanks-Patrick
