Tour Kauai’s Napali Coast. Makana Charters is a native Hawaiian family owned and operated business that takes pride in providing the best possible experience for visitors to Kauai and the Napali Coast. For over 20 years we have been offering tours to the Na Pail coast on custom-built touring power catamarans that were designed to provide the ultimate touring experience. We cater to smaller crowds on our NaPali Coast boat tours and Private charters, which all of our boats are built for . We do a 5 hour lunch and Snorkel, we are very fortunate to leave out of our home town that has lived here for many generations.

How is the seating on the 12 person boat? Can you see the coast well and take good pictures if you sit in the covered area? How many seats are covered and how many seats are in the sun? Thanks!

We did the 12 person last month and it was great. A seat for everyone and plenty of room to move around. We all rotated seats to be on different sides and spend a little time in the covered area. There are cut out windows in the covered area and Captain also allows standing next to him (front view) as well as sitting out on the front of the boat (legs hanging over). Very fun and it was the highlight of our trip.
Which is better in October - the morning or afternoon trip? Don't want it too cold or too choppy - how's that for spoiled!

Even when it's cloudy and raining, the water is an absolute delight. The sights are almost incomprehensibly beautiful. i love the ocean. It's all very worth it.

I doubt your doctor would say it is ok though much is up to your level of comfort. If you are there in summer, it is much milder. They won't let you go if they think it is too rough, I imagine Great folks!
