Donald Trump has said he won't be calling Minnesota Governor Tim Walz following the shootings of two Minnesota lawmakers and their families, as he declared 'Why waste time?'

Boelter was arrested in a field located in a rural part of Sibley County, in southwest Minneapolis, and he was being interviewed at a law enforcement facility, Drew Evans, the superintendent of the state’s Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, said.

A manhunt is underway for the gunman who was impersonating a police officer and had a list of possible targets, officials said.

On Saturday, two state lawmakers from Minnesota were gunned down in their homes in what Governor Tim Walz called a "politically motivated assassination" attempt. The attacks left one politician dead and the other seriously injured.
