Good Cheer swept to a commanding victory in Friday's $1.5 million Kentucky Oaks, overcoming a sloppy track and a wide trip to post her seventh win without a loss.

Good Cheer, trained by Brad Cox and ridden by Luis Saez, won the 2025 Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, on Friday night.

Good Cheer won the Lilles for the Fillies with jockey Luis Saez riding the Brad H. Cox-trained thoroughbred. It's third win for the Louisville-based trainer in the Kentucky Oaks since 2018. Good Cheer was the heavy favorite at 6-5 and paid off on those short odds.
