The Indian ministry of external affairs has expressed deep concern over the security breach involving EAM S Jaishankar's convoy in London, stressing the need for the UK to take action against those responsible.

When Jaishankar was leaving London's Chatham House Wednesday, a Sikh separatist tore an Indian flag in front of his vehicle. This is not the first such incident.

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has strongly condemned the security breach that occurred outside Chatham House during External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar’s visit. A spokesperson reaffirmed the UK’s commitment to diplomatic security,

"We strongly condemn the incident that took place outside Chatham House yesterday (Wednesday) during the External Affairs Minister’s visit to the UK,” a Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) spokesperson said.

Urging action against the culprits, India has conveyed ‘deep concern’ to the UK authorities over the breach of security arrangements by Khalistani separatist during External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's UK visit.
