Coyle, Wood traded to Blue Jackets by Avalanche
Charlie Coyle and Miles Wood were traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets by the Colorado Avalanche on Friday. Colorado received forward Gavin Brindley, a third-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft (No. 77), and a conditional second-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft for the forwards.

Former New Jersey Devils forward Miles Wood is on the move. According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Colorado Avalanche are trading Wood and Charlie Coyle to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for a 2027 second-round pick, a 2025 third-round pick, and Gavin Brindley.
