Correa, who will turn 30 on Sept. 22, last suited up for the Twins on July 12. In 75 games prior to his deactivation, he hit .308/.377/.520 (148 OPS+) with 13 home runs and 47 runs batted in.

It is a move that Jim Bowden of The Athletic (subscription required) highlighted in a recent piece handing out superlatives, calling Correa’s return the best reunion.
