Most San Antonio-area school districts have announced they will close Tuesday, including San Antonio, Northside, and Judson independent school districts. Area colleges and universities are also shuttering amid the freeze. Here's a full list of school closures.

Thousands are without power following to an arctic blast arriving in San Antonio on Tuesday, January 21. A CPS Energy outage map showed nearly 2,500 customers are currently without power due to 10 active outages across the city.

Storm is now developing along the South Texas coast and starting to pump moisture into our region. Reports of light freezing rain, freezing mist and sleet are coming in. These reports will become more numerous through the evening and especially overnight.
