Rep. Sarah McBride said Republicans are "obsessed with culture war issues" a day after Republican Rep. Keith Self called her "Mr. McBride" during a hearing.

Representative Sarah McBride (D-DE), the first openly transgender member of the U.S. Congress, has not been accepted by all of her colleagues including MAGA Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), who introduced legislation that would bar transgender women from using women's restrooms on federal property.

Sarah McBride is the first openly trans person elected to Congress. The senator from Delaware has been dealing with repeated instances of misgendering by Republican colleagues over the course of the past few months.
