Red Bull Formula 1 driver Yuki Tsunoda has reflected on the "tough" Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, after making his way through the field following a scary crash in qualifying. The Japanese driver started the race at the iconic Imola circuit from the pit lane due to the amount of work needed on the RB21 following the crash.

Yuki Tsunoda will start from the pitlane in F1's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix after Red Bull built up a spare chassis following his Imola qualifying accident. Heading into the fast Villeneuve chicane at the end of the first sector, Tsunoda lost control over his RB21 and made heavy contact with the inside wall, sending his car into a barrel roll.

The crash brought out the red flag, leading to an extended delay in Q1. You can see Tsunoda’s massive crash here: Tsunoda was able to exit the RB21 and walk unassisted to the medical car, where he was taken to the care center for a precautionary evaluation.
