Man City are caught between a rock and a hard place as they welcome Newcastle to the Etihad for a critical Premier League clash Saturday, just days before a nervy visit to the Bernabeu in European play.

Things are no better in the Premier League, with a fifth consecutive title off the agenda after some indifferent form to say the least. A top-four finish is still very much in the crosshairs, though, making Saturday's game with sixth-placed Newcastle hugely significant.

Chelsea once again make the trip to take on Brighton tonight as they look for revenge in the Premier League. The Seagulls knocked Enzo Maresca’s side out of the FA Cup fourth round last weekend and the Blues will be out to right that wrong, particularly as it could be a key game in the battle for Champions League qualification.
