From the moment Honda introduced the TrailSport badge on the 2022 Passport, engineers have been on a mission to make the name actually mean something. The first TrailSport treatment was merely a costume; the Passport that wore it was just a common crossover plying the suburbs in the automotive equivalent of a Patagonia vest.

The new fourth-generation Honda Passport arrives with a more rugged design and a host of desirable features. The TrailSport trims are enhanced with all-terrain tires, steel skid plates, and other unique hardware.

Three 2026 Passport TrailSport's hung from the crane were built at the Honda Alabama Auto Plant, with all fluids drained and transmissions fixed in neutral. All 2026 Passport TrailSport models also feature a trailer hitch with a 7-pin connector that integrates two stout rear recovery points and helps protect the rear fascia from off-road damage.
