Rohit Sharma finally produced an innings of note after a series of starts, posting 76 with Shreyas Iyer rescuing India from a wobble with a fine 48 as India defeated New Zealand by four wickets after being set a competitive 252 to win at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Shreyas Iyer (48) and Axar Patel (29) also played gritty knocks when India lost three wickets in quick succession. KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya (18) led India's run-chase in the death overs

Team India have clinched the Champions Trophy 2025, albeit there were some jitters out in the middle as they beat New Zealand by five wickets on Sunday in the final at the Dubai International Stadium. Rohit Sharma's opening onslaught was decisive in making the work easy for the rest of the batters.
