For the first time in a while, the Chiefs may not be desperate to add a wide receiver. They have Rashee Rice coming back from a knee injury, Xavier Worthy coming off a breakout rookie season, and they re-signed Marquise Brown and Juju Smith-Schuster to provide a veteran presence. If anything, they could add some depth in the later rounds.

Martinez presents an appealing skill set for the Chiefs, whose running back room also lacked both youth and depth last season. The Chiefs signed Kareem Hunt midseason last year after their lead back, Isiah Pacheco, broke his fibula in Week Two.

The NFL Draft is around the corner and the Kansas City Chiefs have multiple holes they have to fill going into the 2025 season.
