Sea Bright has about 40 to 50 students living ... a regional school district with Atlantic Highlands and Highlands elementary schools. In the past, they supported including Sea Bright.

In January, Gov. Phil Murphy signed a bill into law that dangles incentives for some smaller school districts to merge. Three waterfront municipalities in Monmouth County are taking a long look at it.
