Stephen Curry had an explosive performance on Tuesday night as he scored 52 points including made 12 three-pointers en route to a 134–125 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The Golden State Warriors star made some NBA history as well, passing the late, great Jerry West on the NBA's all-time scoring list to reach No. 25 on the rankings.

West, who was the model for the NBA logo and was in many ways the original prototype for Curry’s combo-guard archetype as a do-everything scoring dynamo with a sweet shot, was a legendary player for the Lakers in the 1960s and 1970s before helping build two separate dynasties in Los Angeles.

Stephen Curry continues to climb up the ranks. On Tuesday night, he had an unbelievable 52-point, 12 three-pointer outing in the Warriors’ win against the Grizzlies.
