The University of Texas had multiple members of its athletics department who were found to have violated NCAA rules over sports gambling according to reports.

A pair of Texas football players have been included after the school self reported gambling violations to the NCAA.

Five people at Texas have been self-reported for sports gambling during the back half of last year. That includes a pair of players on the football team for the Longhorns to go with the three non-athletes within the athletic department.

One of the football players, who has since ended his playing career, was deemed to have a 'problem' with sports betting
