VALLARTA, Mexico (AP) -- Aldrich Potgieter had the lead going into the final round of the Mexico Open, minus the cushion he enjoyed after a sloppy finish Saturday that made him settle for a 4-under 67 and a one-shot advantage over Brian Campbell at Vidanta Vallarta.

Jack Milko has been playing golf since he was five years old. He has yet to record a hole-in-one, but he did secure an M.A. in Sports Journalism from St. Bonaventure University. Drive for show and putt for dough is one of the more popular adages within the golf lexicon, and luckily for Aldrich Potgieter, he can do both.

Aldrich Potgieter leads the 2025 Mexico Open at VidantaWorld with a stellar 52-hole score of 20 under par. The South African golfer almost recorded a part of history during the second round of the tournament where he carded in an amazing 10-under par 61 round.
