A military helicopter from the African Union peacekeeping mission in Somalia crashed at the airport in the capital Mogadishu on Tuesday and was engulfed in flames, the state-run SONNA news outlet reported.

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least five people were killed after a Ugandan military helicopter crashed at Mogadishu airport in Somalia on Wednesday, media reports said. Another three of the helicopter’s eight occupants survived the incident but with severe injuries and burns, said a Ugandan military spokesperson, Felix Kulayigye.
