Despite leading at halftime, BYU fell 84-66 to Cincinnati Saturday afternoon on the road. The Cougars have now lost consecutive games after winning four straight, falling to 15-8 on the season and 6-6 in Big 12 play.

BYU junior Richie Saunders started just three games the previous two seasons but has since become a full-time starter and the Cougars' leading scorer. He scored 21 points against UC in Provo, making 5-of-7 from behind the arc. Overall, he's a 45% 3-point shooter. Defensively, he leads the Cougars in steals with 27.

BYU and Cincinnati meet Saturday afternoon in a rematch from a couple weeks ago. BYU won the January 25 meeting 80-52 behind a 52-point second half and 15-24 three-point shooting performance. Cincinnati has been the most disappointing Big 12 team to date.
