Charles Leclerc has painted a sobering picture of Ferrari's F1 Miami GP potential after what he felt was a solid qualifying lap was only good enough for eighth

With the F1 Sprint race set to begin at noon local time, rain is still falling here in Miami. It is expected to stop shortly before the lights go out for the F1 Sprint race, but the drivers may still need weather tires for the 19 laps that await them on the track.

Charles Leclerc insists Ferrari’s competitiveness is “not good enough”. Leclerc qualified for the F1 Miami Grand Prix in eighth, while teammate Lewis Hamilton languished in 12th. It represented another drab session for the Ferrari drivers who pre-season hype has yet to become a reality.
