Formula 1 superstar Lewis Hamilton enters a new race this summer — as a movie producer chasing the box office crown. He speeds into multiplexes with “F1 the Movie,” the high-octane blockbuster hopeful from his company Dawn Apollo Films and Apple Original Films.

F1,” a Formula One racing film starring Brad Pitt, Damson Idris and several real-life drivers, arrives in theaters on Friday, June 27. In the Apple film, Pitt plays a retired Formula One driver, Sonny Hayes,

"F1" stars Brad Pitt and Damson Idris as the two drivers in the movie. Joseph Kosinski - of "Top Gun: Maverick" fame - directed the movie while Apple Original Films produced it. The famous Hans Zimmer produced the film's score.
