The brother of Israeli hostage Evyatar David called on the world to "come together" to secure his freedom following the publication of a video in which the emaciated captive was shown purportedly digging his own grave.

Ilay David, brother of hostage Evyatar, spoke before the United Nations Security Council, calling for action and saying that Hamas is starving hostages and forcing them to dig their own graves.

Evyatar David, 24, was kidnapped at the Nova Music Festival on Oct. 7, 2023, during the terrorist attack by Hamas in which 1,200 people were killed and 250 taken hostage.
