PennDOT said it will continue to treat roadways in the area until all the roads are clear, but some secondary roads may still be slippery.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has temporarily reduced speed limits to 45 mph on interstate highways in northeastern Pennsylvania because of the severity of Sunday’s winter

Due to the severity of the Sunday winter storm, PennDOT announced they are reducing the speed limits on multiple roadways in the Midstate region. PennDOT is urging motorists to avoid unnecessary travel but those who must head out will see speeds reduced to 45 mph on the following highways: PennDOT says on roadways with
