Authorities said they suspected Sabrina Cervantes was under the influence of drugs when she got into a two-vehicle collision near the state Capitol.
Police accused a state senator from Riverside of driving under the influence after her car was involved in a crash near the Capitol in Sacramento, Politico reported. Sen. Sabrina Cervantes, D-Riverside, denied consuming any alcohol and said hospital lab results prove she was sober.
