Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd was joined by several local and state officials, including Gov. Ron DeSantis, at a Wednesday press conference to discuss illegal immigration.

Florida sheriffs are advocating for Gov. Ron DeSantis’ border security plan, arguing it's necessary to support President Donald Trump, protect Americans, and give them the tools they need to better do their jobs.

POLK COUNTY, Fla. - Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd delivered a powerful speech on Wednesday, highlighting the urgent need for action to combat illegal immigration and criminal activity by illegal immigrants in Florida.

"We have to come together to set the state model that supports the federal model so that we get the illegal criminals out of this country," Sheriff Judd said.

The Polk Sheriff's Office will continue to hold undocumented suspects for collection by ICE agents, Sheriff Grady Judd said.

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WFLA) — Gov. Ron DeSantis will be speaking in Winter Haven on Wednesday morning at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
