The Milwaukee Bucks re-tooled the bottom of their roster by signing Pete Nance to a two-way contract and waiving another player.

The Milwaukee Bucks are planning to sign F/C Pete Nance on a two-way NBA deal, sources tell ESPN. Nance played seven games for the 76ers this season amid a strong season for the G League's Cleveland Charge.

Revere High School graduate Pete Nance hardly got going again with the Cavs' NBA G League affiliate before ESPN reported the Bucks plan to sign him.

Nance (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Cleveland. Nance has yet to suit up since signing a two-way pact with Milwaukee on Feb. 27 due to a left ankle sprain. The 25-year-old center's next chance to play will come Tuesday against the Pacers,

The Bucks signed Nance to a two-way contract Friday, but he hasn't played since Feb. 12 in the G League due to an ankle sprain. His next chance to make his Milwaukee debut will be Tuesday against the Hawks.

Nance will be ready to immediately contribute for Milwaukee or its G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd.

The Bucks are planning to sign Nance (ankle) to a two-way contract, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. The team has yet to make this signing official, though a deal appears imminent. Nance will presumably bolster Milwaukee's frontcourt following the suspension of Bobby Portis for violating the league's anti-drug policy.
