Vivek Ramaswamy, co-chair of President-elect Donald Trump's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) along with Elon Musk, says he plans to run for governor of Ohio, reported the Washington Post on Friday,

Vivek Ramaswamy is no longer leading the Department of Government Efficiency with Elon Musk and may run to become Ohio governor.

Despite the reports of his gubernatorial ambitions, multiple reports say Mr. Ramaswamy was driven out of DOGE by Mr. Musk. He “just burned through the bridges and he finally burned Elon,” a Republican strategist close to Trump advisers told Politico. “Everyone wants him out of Mar-a-Lago, out of D.C.”
