Virginia interim coach Ron Sanchez can relate to Florida State coach Leonard Hamilton whose team features plenty of newcomers just like the Cavaliers do.

FSU will travel to Charlottesville on Tuesday to play UVA in its final road game. Tipoff will be at 9 p.m. at the John Paul Jones Arena. FSU's final regular season game will be against SMU (21-8, 12-6) on Saturday at the Donald L. Tucker Center. During that day, FSU will honor Hamilton in his final home game.

But Virginia was losing FSU's defense behind ... game of the season against SMU on Saturday. They're calling it Leonard Hamilton Day, honoring the legend in his final game in Tallahassee.

Andrew Rohde hit a shot-clock buzzer-beating three with 59 seconds left to break a 55-55 tie, to lift Virginia to a 60-57 win over Florida State on Tuesday.

FSU is seeded 11th in the ACC Tournament that opens Tuesday in Charlotte, North Carolina, and runs through Saturday.
