The SEC on Saturday took a big step toward a huge milestone: earning the most NCAA Tournament bids for a conference in a single season.

Georgia's star is Asa Newell, a 6-foot-11 post player who's close to automatic inside and a good rim protector who averages 15.1 points per game. That could prove a tough matchup for Vanderbilt's bigs, Devin McGlockton and Jaylen Carey, especially because the Bulldogs have proven successful at getting to the free-throw line.

The 12-seed Bulldogs go on a 9-0 run late in the fourth quarter to come back and beat the 13-seed Razorbacks, 79-74, in the opening round of the SEC tourney.
