Shaquille O'Neal weighed in on the bad night for Butler and the Warriors, saying on TNT that the team spent too much time in Miami before the game to be ready to play at a high level.

The Warriors star struggled in his first game back in Miami. Butler only scored 11 points, shooting 5-of-12 from the field and 0-of-2 from beyond the arc. The Heat have significantly struggled since the Butler trade. That was far from the case in this contest.

Butler wound up being suspended for a total of 14 Heat games before the trade. But the Heat have a tradition of welcoming back players who were All-Stars or champions with the team; Butler was an All-Star in Miami who led the team to three Eastern Conference finals berths and two trips to the NBA Finals.
