The Los Angeles Lakers decided to reshape their project and focus on young talent. One of the benefitted players was LeBron James’ son Bronny James. He was given the opportunity to make his debut on NBA.

Bronny was drafted by the Lakers with the 55th pick in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft. The move made LeBron and Bronny the first-ever father-son duo to play in the league at the same time — and for the same team.

In Bronny James' first Lakers start, the rookie had four points on two-of-10 shooting and a plus/minus of -23. Coach JJ Redick gave LeBron's son an A+ grade for the season.
