Dante Scarnecchia went on WEEI and denied rumors that he's rejoining the Patriots' coaching staff in some capacity this season.

Dante Scarnecchia was pretty adamant when he refuted a rumor that he was helping the Patriots behind the scenes.

The Patriots' new staff includes multiple former head coaches with extensive league experience, such as Josh McDaniels, Doug Marrone, and Ben McAdoo, while also bringing in several of Vrabel's former coordinators and coaches from his time with the Tennessee Titans, most notably, defensive coordinator Terrell Williams.

Vrabel, who coached for six seasons in Tennessee, brought in a variety of new coaches to the Patriots. In total, four assistants on this staff have head coaching experience with offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, offensive line coach Doug Marrone, tight ends coach/passing game coordinator Thomas Brown, and senior defensive assistant Ben McAdoo.
