The second most popular Paramount+ show of all time has officially, finally, been green-lit for a second season. After a massive Season 1 cliffhanger, the English mafia show MobLand will return for at least one more season. This means that all fears that the various plotlines would not be resolved have been put to rest.

There is no official release date for season 2 of “MobLand” just yet, but it seems likely that the series will return in 2026. Production for season 1 began in November 2024, just four months before “MobLand” premiered in March. That suggests that there could be a similarly quick turnaround time for season 2.

In MobLand, two mob families clash in a war that threatens to topple empires and lives. Led by Hardy, Brosnan and Mirren, the cast also includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan and Emily Barber.
