Pro-Palestinian campaigners have staged a protest outside the Wimbledon tennis championships on Monday (June 30) over Barclays’ sponsorship.

The conviction of Ryland Headley, 92, for the murder of Louisa Dunne in 1967, is thought to be the longest-running cold case to be solved by police.

The bus on the A38 Bristol Road in Cambridge near Slimbridge burst into flames earlier today, Monday, June 30. Neighbours said they heard a loud bang at around 2.15pm. The road remains closed.

Ryland Headley, then aged 34, forced entry into the home of 75-year-old Louisa Dunne in Bristol in June 1967 before attacking her.

A temperature of 29.7C was recorded at Kew Gardens, setting a provisional record for the hottest start to the tennis championships.
