The Lady Patriots won 59-56. “20 years ago, in 2025 I won one of these as a player,” Knott Co. Central Girls Basketball Coach Megan Huff said. “Time passes you by, but it feels just as good as a coach, maybe even better to be honest.”

While head coach Mark Pope‘s time at the helm of Kentucky is only beginning, his seniors won’t be around much longer. After the Wildcats handily defeated LSU 95-64 on Senior Day on Tuesday, Pope delivered a poignant message to his veterans walking off the court.
