Capital High School opened its doors in 1989. Thirty-six years later, there’s a photo hanging outside the gymnasium — the team picture of the Cougars’ 1999-2000 boys basketball state champions.

The North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association has announced their 2025 Division B Boys Basketball All-State Team on March 25. All-State Basketball teams are voted on by members of the NDAPSSA.
