After storming out to a 2-0 lead against Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig had to eventually claw back to just lock down a 3-3 in the game’s waning moments. For RB Leipzig managing director for sport Marcel Schäfer, it was a result filled with mixed emotions.

With the Bundesliga title firmly in reach, Bayern Munich travelled to Leipzig on Saturday. Three points would have seen Bayern crowned Champions with two matchdays to spare.

Tactically, Bayern seemed like they had no plan for the game. The first Leipzig goal was embarrassing to watch as fans, and put on full display a mortifying error from Jonas Urbig, worsened by a complete lack of communication amongst the defence.
