Skylar Astin, perhaps best known for Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2, has found a way to use his talents to “audition” for the upcoming Disney adaptation of Hercules.

Skylar Astin Lipstein (born September 23, 1987) is an American actor and singer. He's best known for portraying Jesse Swanson in the musical films Pitch Perfect (2012) and Pitch Perfect 2 (2015).

In addition to the Pitch Perfect films, Camp also shared the screen with Astin for a few episodes of his TBS series Ground Floor, which ran for two seasons from 2013 to 2015.

She later tied the knot with her Pitch Perfect costar Skylar Astin in 2016. The former couple separated after two-plus years of marriage in April 2019 and finalized their divorce several months later.
