Microsoft has added the ‘Popular Now’ section to its Bing search engine. The feature is designed to let you see daily news trends by glancing at the homepage. Each day, Bing’s editorial team monitors trends and topics and updates them on the Bing homepage. The 'Popular Now' suggestions are based on top searches and are editorially selected.

Each day, Bing’s editorial team monitors trends and topics and updates them on the Bing homepage. The section is located at the bottom right of the page.

Jul 26, 2013 · For all the folks wanting Bing freedom... There is a very nice and easy work around to remove this annoying pop-up bar on Bing. So, don't be forced to use that hated and despised and nasty Google search engine. Remove the pop-up bar and enjoy Bing with its daily image photography by using this simple setting here.

Apr 4, 2015 · The image on my Bing homepage, as well as the Popular now icons, are missing. I have a blank gray page with a Bing search in the middle. How do I get the daily image back, as well as the popular now boxes at the bottom of the page? I haven't changed anything on my computer. Those were all of a sudden "missing today.

I added the stylebot extension but I don't know what I need to do to get them to reappear upon opening Chrome. Please help someone. Because of the CSS selectors, it is exceeding unlikely that it will affect any page other than Bing. The result is that only the popular now bar and the show/hide button are hidden, everything else appears normally. This has only been tested for IE 11; for other versions mileage may vary.
